Off-grid solar system installed by TASS at a refugee information Centre in Rhino camp

Our off-grid (stand-alone) solar systems are used to power schools, hospitals, residences and other institutions. These systems are completely independent of the national grid by providing continuous uninterrupted power.  They are an ideal solution for rural / remote areas where the national grid has not yet reached. The systems are optimally designed to provide power 24-hrs.

The electrical component are housed in one unit called the power cab, equipped with a solar charge controller, hybrid inverter, protection modules, communication modules and a bank of batteries. The system can also be remotely monitored.
